Apologies – I have been having the most frustrating time trying to add images to the last post! Cannot understand why it is not working. Will try again in the morning.

Homemade: Gorgeous Things to Make with Love
with Ros Badger
(Collins £20).
People have been talking about the Weekend Book in messages here, so I thought I would put a cover up (click for a link to order it) - and one of my next book (written with my friend Ros Badger ) - which will be out in early May. As people who have always made things at home - Ros is a great knitter and crocheter, and I love making things from the garden, whether that's planting up pots as presents, cooking chutney and jams or festooning the house with leaves and flowers - we've collected some of what we think are our best ideas into a book of around 80 projects, all of which have all been beautifully photographed. For more on these books, and the others that I have written, and links to order them, please go to my website and click on Books.

It is fascinating following the various stages of your project Elspeth – thank you. Good luck with it all.
I have just found your blog, via your website and only found your website after searching on Amazon to see if there was an up to date version of Urban Gardener …
Anyway, I shall now have yet another blog to read which will take me away from my own writing, a’hem!
You mention that the first blog you came across was Yarnstorm … it was my second and the first I came across was http://www.cornflower.typepad.com and after that I was totally hooked. I, too, love Jane Brocket’s book, though and am now looking forward to her second.
All good wishes, I shall now pay heed to the various stages of your project!

Dear Elspeth , I have just started blogging myself and also cannot understand why one of my images still remains blank in one of my posts. Very frustrating as the images can speak louder than words!
Have also realised that I choose the same theme as yourself…I thought it seemed clean and subtle .
I have always been an avid reader of your books . Urban gardener and A tale of two gardens are re-read regularly and relished…
Best wishes, Nicola x
